The first man I ever loved

        The title is a bit simple and a little common right? Well, it's the content that counts. First let me tell what are the qualifications of  a hero for me. A hero is someone who knows how to protect, guide and of course a good role model. A hero makes people feel the urge to be something. To be a hero as well. Someone who do something for the sake of other regardless of what he feels and his condition. Others comes first.

      For me, my dad is my hero. He's been with me through thick and thin. Personally I admit that I'm not a very good daughter to have a very WORTHY father to guide me. I often go against his will.  I do the things that I know that will make me happy. These are the main reason why I often dismay him, but I keep on repeating the same mistakes all over again. Letting him down is what I'm very good at. Despite all this facts, he NEVER EVER hit me nor scold me. He just keeps on joking me "Ito ako oh. Working for your future." Those words struck me even just a little to strive harder. 

            When I was young, I'm not afraid to tell him that I love and how I really cared for him! I still remember myself hugging him tight at night because I feel safe. We already undergone a lot of family problems in the past. He solves anything and everything on his own. He doesn't want to involve us in family problems and stuffs. Sometimes I wonder, why can daddy smile despite of everything? I pretended to know nothing. Despite of being so strong inside. He's the most gentle and kindest man ever. Seeing me cry hurts him a lot; I was raised like a princess! Maybe that's the reason why I always rely on others. It's not a very good thing right? He gives me more the what is enough. 

God is really good to us. My dad teaches us to make the Lord our very own foundation in life to keep us moving forward despite of everything. 

          He's my hero because,  not to mention that I really love him it's quite obvious. He never gave up. My father is really proud of me whenever I get a simple achievement. He appreciates me more than anyone else. He never fails to tell me "Oh musta school? Musta si ano [insert name]." In my case I tell him EVERYTHING. NO SECRETS. That's how close we are. Often times he disappoint me, but I understand it's a part of life. Together with him. I'll take a step forward slowly reaching for others.

We are both happy go lucky! He always tells crazy and let me tell you REALLY corny jokes, we are a picture of a perfect family because of him. That's what I really admire about him. There is never a dull moment with him. We both love being happy, he will always be my hero. Maybe I got my bubbly personality from him. He's the best! He let's me see the world in it's different perspective. He's my SUPERHEROOO, CLOWN and my KNIGHT IN SHINING ARMOR! 

                              if destiny decided I should look the other way

then the world would never know the greatest story ever told and did I tell you that I love you.  just how much I really need you

He will always be one of the reasons why I strive harder and why I wanna be a somebody when I grow up. I may not show how thankful I am, at least by this blog post… He knows how I appreciate every single thing he had done for me.
